About Us
Established in 1854, Hilltop Acres Farm is a 8th generation family farm located in Northeast Iowa. Dennis and Barb Mashek own and operate Hilltop Acres along with their sons, Josh and Tanner. The farm is home to 450 registered Brown Swiss which are milked in a double 12 parlor three times a day. Hilltop Acres markets genetics worldwide; cows, heifers, bulls, and embryos are for sale at all times. Hilltop Acres farms 1,100 acres of land of corn and alfalfa.
Hilltop Acres has been extremely aggressive with genomics in brown swiss. 90% of the females and 60% of the males are currently being genomic tested on a monthly basis
